Addictive Beat
In 2022 I had the absolute pleasure of co-composing the original score of Addictive Beat, by Dawn King, (The Trials, Donmar Warehouse), starring Fionn Whitehead and Boadicea Rickets directed by Rob Drummer and produced by Boundless Theatre.
I collaborated with EDM producer DJ Anikdote on an immersive surround install score, and created a series of granulated ambient compositions that weaved around Anikdote’s thumping tracks.
My piece, ‘Addictive Beat Theme’ is at the heart of the work, and was manipulated in real time around six distinct sound fields by musician and sound opp, Peter Buffery.
